Walking Safari at Crater Lake Game Sanctuary (Lake Naivasha)t

Mt. Longonot Hike

Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Just a short drive from our temporary home in Nanyuki, we ventured into the breathtaking landscapes of Ol Pejeta Consrvancy, where wildlife thrives in its purest form. From a curious young giraffe gazing over the vast plains to a playful rhino calf standing close to its ever-watchful mother, every encounter was a reminder of nature's beauty. We watched in awe as a majestic elephant walked toward us, felt the sharp gaze of a well-camouflaged yellow-necked-spurfowl, and even shared a lighthearted moment with a young rhino playfully sticking out its tongue. One of the most strinking sights - a Thomson's gazelle standing in front of a herd of massive rhinos, its expression almost saying, "OMG, did you see these?!" - captured the magic of the wild. Each of these moments tells a unique story of life in Ol Pejeta, a place definitively worth visiting.

Settling into our temporary Home in Nanyuki, Kenya 🏡

Having just arrived in Nanyuki, our first days were dedicated to organizing a comfortable home for the year ahead. Thanks to the support of some wonderful people, we secured both a house and a car within just four days. Now, we can finally unpack, settle in, and begin establishing a daily routine that helps us feel at home here in Nanyuki.
